[Music News] Beyoncé Is Back! Dropping New Single, “Break My Soul” At Midnight

The Grammy Winner’s album, “Renaissance” is due July 29

Get ready! Beyonce is getting ready to release her forthcoming seventh solo project, “Renaissance,” with its lead single, Break My Soul, dropping tonight. Announced via social media, Beyonce changed her Instagram bio saying, “6. BREAK MY SOUL midnight ET.” The single will be arriving at 12am ET, which is around 5am UK time. This announcement was not made via a tweet or Instagram post but on her profile on each platform; the song appears to be the sixth track on the album. Beyoncé’s fandom nicknamed “the BeyHive” had noticed Queen B was up to something when she deleted her profile pictures on social media. Some fans had expected Beyoncé to drop her song on the event of Juneteenth, which took place on Sunday. She dropped her most recent major single, “Black Parade,” this time, last year which had a relation to the holiday. Her other album "Black Is King" released the same year. Her last album before that was 2016's "Lemonade." This album made history, topping the Billboard 200 after its first week! There is not much known about this track as of right now except that it’s the sixth one on the album which is produced by The-Dream. He has worked on plenty of Beyoncé’s songs including her Savage remix with Megan Thee Stallion and self-titled Partition. Renaissance has already been tagged as 'Act I' of a forthcoming larger project. What we do know is that the album will include 16 tracks and will include dance and country songs, announced a source familiar with the project. Act I of Renaissance is currently available to pre-save on TIDAL, Jay-Z’s music streaming platform.
