In 2018, after relocating from Oakland, California, to the East Coast to advance his music career, artist Lil Skitx discovered one of Connecticut's most prestigious studios. It was there that he met producer Yung D of Connecticut People Records. The two instantly connected, bringing an undeniable energy to the studio that resulted in a track paying homage to one of the greatest in the game, Fabolous (@myfabolouslife). Their hit single "Breathe" has been garnering significant attention, with some calling it "just what the Hip Hop industry needs."
We love to see when young artists take their inspirations and use them to pave the way for something greater. As showcased on Episode 225 of *Welcome to the Rawrrzone,* Lil Skitx blew us away with his unique take on the Hip Hop classic. If you haven’t heard of Lil Skitx yet, you’re missing out. But do you know how the track was born? Lil Skitx and Yung D have revived the art of storytelling in their music, and after much anticipation, fans are in for a treat. With the support of the video production team from @PardonMyVision, the official music video for "Breathe" is set to drop later this month.
